Filed a formal complaint & was refused $157 return after the company DECEPTION with a CAR UNSAFE and UNDRIVABLE per FLL Mercedes;$4000 work required. Dec 11,2009 a Mercedes 2005 CLK 55 AMG conv. advertised on Autotrader for $18,508. Contacted dealer (Juan and Igor) to make deposit to hold car, paid to fly down & inspect car as advertised. Car was not starting, no battery power. They said they just got the car and giving the benefit of the doubt, I proceeded to bring car to Mercedes for inspection that I had to pay $157. While I was getting car inspected, AID AUTO aka. AUTOSTYLE LUXURY INCREASED PRICE on the internet $2,000 and added a $899 dealer fee when negotiating car price. They claimed there was a disclaimer online for $3,000 and THERE WAS NO SUCH DISCLAIMER. When I met with Horatio (sales manager) he denied knowledge of this. I was shocked at this claimed disclaimer and deceptive price increase on the internet while I was having the car inspected. Thank God, I had print out from internet price & explained I would not buy a car from such DECEPTIVE dealings & because the CAR WAS UNSAFE and UNDRIVABLE per FLL Mercedes with $4000 work required for tires, belts, battery, etc. I was fortunate to have found a better company to do business with in CA.
