Purchased a Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC 32" TV through Buy.com. Received it promptly but there was a problem with the picture (1" vertical line on right side of the screen). Called Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC support and was promised replacement within 5-10 days, after the damaged TV was delivered to Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC. Returned the TV and promptly received a replacement...but there was a problem with the picture (left side sporadically turned red, yellow, or blue). Called Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC support an was promised replacement within 5-10 days, after the damaged TV was delivered to Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC. Returned the TV on 10/8/2008 but, over a month later, have not received a replacement. The support center (located nowhere near the California) was courteous during the first return but has provided no support since that time.
Unfortunately, by the time you read this, it is likely that you have already had a problem with Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC. As is apparent by the āCā BBB rating, you need to be extremely careful (or lucky) when dealing with this firm and it is important that others understand this, as well.
In my case, I am attempting to reconcile, via my bank, filed a complain with BBB and also pursued the matter with Buy.com. It seems appropriate that the resellers (buy.com in this case) understand the issues that this firm presents.
