After reading an article on someone making money here locally I followed the link and signed up for an information package using Google Advertising. It was to be free except for $1.97 shipping charge. Well...nothing was ever shipped and since I figured I was only out $1.97 I didn't bother much with it. Then I started seeing charges for $69.97 and $29.95 from companies I didn't recognize (VBL*WEBMONEYTRAINING and VBL*ALTERFUNDS). I called them to dispute the charges and they immediately take a defensive stance and beging listing all the proof they have that I made the request for services. Well...sure...I signed up for a Google Advertising packet, but not for all these other companies! I'd never even heard of WebMoneyTraining before...don't know what they do...never received ANYTHING via mail OR email. It's a bait and switch/small print scam...pure and simple. Any reputable company would be upfront about everything and not try and hide things.
SCAM...RIP-OFF...AVOID.
Now that I know what name to research (not given initially) I've found lots of complaints about these folks scamming you in a myriad of different ways under several different disguises. A bad bunch of folks!
