I am the owner of We the People Burbank and would like to take a moment to respond to the review from Liza in 2007.
I remember this customer and know that divorce is not an easy process for anyone involved and in her case she told us that her husband would sign the final papers and we prepared everything for her in record time just like we do for our thousands of customers that are extremely satisfied with our service. But the problem was he would not sign which made the divorce contested, which did change everything, we told her over and over what her options were, we had her contact our supervising attorney at the time (Derek Thiele) and he also told her what options she had, then we did not hear from her for over a year and a half, and when she would call it was always left on the message machine late at night and was never a nice message something always very aggressive and threatening, how can we have control over if her husband signs the documents or not. We tried to help her but she was so upset over her husband not signing and having to set a hearing in court, that she wanted to blame us for everything which was unfounded.
Being in business you try to please everyone but we all know this is just not possible, and this was the case with this customer. I always treated her with respect and for her to try and slander my company is very wrong and cruel. I hope if you took the time to read this response you will give us a chance to prove to you that this review is FALSE. We are professional and have been in business over 30 years, this would be pretty hard to do if all she said in her review was true. Reviews are just that someone's view of a service and her view was very clouded by her emotions for going through a divorce and my company ended up being her sounding board.
