NO RETURN POLICY FOR LEMONS!!!

On July 20, 2012 the Frigidaire top mount refrigerator (which got #3 rating by Consumer Reports) that I purchased from WAREHOUSE DISCOUNT CENTER in MOORPARK was delivered and installed. It was a piece of junk from day 1!
WDC HAS NO RETURN POLICY unless the appliance is still in the box unused within 30 days. Well, duh! HOW DO YOU KNOW IT'S BROKEN IF IT'S STILL IN THE BOX!!
There is over an inch of frost in the freezer (it's not even a month old) and the TEMPERATURE IN THE REFRIGERATOR IS 62 DEGREES TODAY. We have over $200 WORTH OF SPOILED FOOD in the refrigerator.
They do NOT tell you this when you purchase the appliance and it is in little tiny print that you can barely read on the invoice buried in a long list at the bottom of the page.
Here's what's wrong with it (and we have had it only 3 weeks to date)
1. It's a piece of junk!! 2. Temperature in refrigerator is 62 degrees and ALL OUR FOOD SPOILED 3. Freezer is coated with over an inch of frost. 4. The door slams every time you close it. 5. All the shelves in the door are loose! 6. Two days after I bought it when I opened the door, the entire bottom shelf fell off breaking my bottle of wine (luckily it was only $2.00 buck Chuck!) and a jar of applesauce. That was a lot of fun to clean up - glass, wine and applesauce under the refrigerator and all over the kitchen. 7. The light cover fell off and won't go back on. 8. There is another broken door on a shelf in the freezer door. Every time you open the freezer door, the food falls off the shelf onto your foot or floor.
An authorized repairman came and told me he couldn't fix any of the loose shelves or the slamming door. He said I would have to contact Frigidaire for a new freezer shelf.
Another authorized repairman will be coming on Monday to look at the 62 DEGREE TEMPERATURE, the SPOILED FOOD and the frost problem.
Warehouse Discount Center won't take the item back and Frigidaire just wants to keep sending repair people. I haven't even had this piece of junk 30 days!! I have been ripped off for $938!!
THIS STORE IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE. I will be taking my business to Sears which has a 90 day return policy, no questions asked!!

As an authorized dealer of Frigidaire, we are contractually bound to only ship or deliver factory sealed merchandise to our customers making it impossible for us to know if an item is defective.
Warehouse Discount Center cannot accept defective merchandise unless the return is authorized by the manufacturer.
Our store manager followed up with a call to the customer after service was completed to confirm all issues have been resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
