Earlier i was shopping at Wal-Mart and picked up a few items... i needed a few heaters for work so i had three of them in the cart along with other items, at check out i noticed the heater rang up as $44.00 when i picked it up there was an entire isle dedicated to these heaters and they were clearly marked $37.00 on the isle. so i tell the cashier, she calls for a manager. manager gets there radios in and asks someone to check the price, the person so radios calls back and confirms the price is marked at $37.00. she then tells me its an error and procedes to appologize that it was an error and tells the cashier the scan price is correct... I ask to talk to her manager, he comes on over and asks whats going on i tell him the cituation and told him they price said it is $37.00 on the shelves and that i should pay that price not this $44.00 and he tells no not going to happen and walks away, so i kind of mumble and asked him if i can talk to his boss, he turns back around and says sorry sir it was a human error, were all human and all make errors, and that he will sell me 1 at $37.00 and the other 2 at $44.00 i told him it isn't right i shouldn't have to pay the $44.00 because someone else made an error... well after arguing for about 5mins. i went ahead and paid for them and then went to customer service and asked if i can talk to the store manager (Fernando Perez) so one of the reps at front desk radio for him and what not... all the sudden the first supposed manager i talked to (Joseph) comes and says look i told you our policy... I asked him if i can see that policy, he tells me know its not like he carries it in his pocket. i politely asked him if he could obtain a copy from his office or show me a posted sign somewhere stating this policy he tells me no then adds its online get it from out website. i then asked if i can talk to his boss which is fernando he tells me hes not in till 4pm that i can call then, so i go home and scour around for 2-3 hours on walmart.com for this poilcy because im upset not that i lost out on $14 but on the whole principle... to my luck i cannot find anything... you get the drift... :(
