Purchased 42" Vizio LCD at Costco...90 days later the TV died - black screen but sound worked. At first Costco was not going to exchange it, but after a bit of discussion with the manager they agreed. With the new TV I decided to buy an extended warranty...Thank god I did! A year later the TV died again, the cost to repair was too expensive so I received a new TV under the extended warranty. I also had (key word) a Vizio sound bar with wireless subwoofer. 30 days after the warranty this kept tripping a thermal shutdown and cutting off. Vizio customer service was no help and as it was out of warranty by 30 days they simple said "go buy another one". When they work, Vizio products are great. The problem is they are poorly build and unreliable. I will never buy another Vizio product.
