I do not recommend this company to do any modifications, adjustment or anything related on your home loans. We hired this company to do our modification, paid them a monthly fee ($400.00) every month for almost a YEAR!! One or two phone calls a month from them telling us everything we want to hear, only to find out they didn't do much (confirmed with mortgage company they had minimal contact with Universal, only once, maybe twice a month)AND we were then dropped due to " restructuring of the business", which we were told when we signed with them was a long standing business. Oh, we have been in business for over 10 years and will be for another 10+ easy! Not!! We also looked at the BBB here to see if there was any complaints or anything. And like posted now they have a B- rating! Funny that the complaint that was on here before are not here now, and I am sure mine won't be up long either. Hope this helps at least one or two families not make the same mistake I did. I just don't feel that this company actually does all it can to negotiate on your behalf for you. Minimal efforts with minimal or no results. They changed the name of their business slightly when I was a client and may do the same again. Known to me as Universal Lending or Universal Holdings.
