I had NetZero dial-up service, which was alright as long as it lasted. The problem arose when I called to cancel. Their representative informed me, or so it seemed, that I could cancel the account, but they would no longer protect my personal information unless I continued to pay them a monthly fee. After spending several minutes trying to get an explanation for this, during which time, she repeatedly interrupted me, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me that they would not do this, but by that time, I wasn't sure what to think. I just hope my personal information isn't going to be released. I would avoid NetZero.
