Fearing the worst

I too, like many others, I see, have been taken for large sums of money by these people. I have been calling for a couple of months now with no response. I stupidly gave them $1500.00 and sent quite a bit of personal info to them as requested with the hope that I could finally get a lower interest rate than the 8.5% that I have now. Well...scammed. Does anybody know if we will be able to somehow get any of our money back? Anybody got any idea how I can get a legit company to refinance my mortgage?
