to Mathew D: I also had the same experience as you. The difference is that my bank is refunding the funds I paid them. You need to call them immediately and file a complaint to have the funds reimbursed to you.
I had to call my bank to find out the status of my loan modifications. And, I also with Randa. She was not a nice individual, she argued with me over some really insignificant informaiton. So I got rid of her, and then had Joe and then all of a sudden he was gone for "family reasons". When I initiall started with Truman, they had a rating of "B" with the BBB, and I never enter into any type of business unless I check with the BBB.
I also filed a complaint against the law firm Airan-Pace, you should also do the same. Because they refused to give me any information on my file when it was suddenly xferred to the corp office, without notifying me of the xfer.
In the BBB they are listed as Rashmi Airan-Pace, Esq./Truman Forclosure Assistance, 6705 Red Road, Miami, FL 33143 305-254-4492
My next step in the complaint process is the US government attorney, I just need to go to the website and file the complaint.
But definitely file a claim to have your money refunded from your bank. Not everyone know's they can do that.

I had the exact thing happen to me. It has been an awful experience. In the beginning of July, I contacted Truman Foreclosure to find out the status of my modifications and the receptionist told me that it had been transferred to the head office. This may have also happened to you, you may want to check with Airan2, Airan-Pace, which is the head office to find out. However, they haven't been any better. First, the receptionist was nice and took my name and number and said someone would be contacting me by the following Tuesday, which never happend. Then when I called back the receptionist was rude and the only thing she said to me was that "they were reviewing the files and someone would get back to me." but she never took my name or number. When Gaurav Sen contacted me back, I signed another authorization form to give them a chance and when I called to check to see if he received the form, he was no longer with the company. It took me filing a complaint with my bank to have the funds returned for them to do anything on my file. I received an email stating " I am writing to inform you on the situation of your case. I am not sure if you have been contacted from the firm of Airan2, Airan-Pace, Crosa & Fernandez, P.A. as of yet, I am aware that you were working with Truman Foreclosure Assistance before. Taking into consideration that Truman was not giving the required time to our filed, the firm decided to retrieve them in order to work on them in house." the email is dated September 21, 2009 and the files were transferred on July 1, 2009 and Gaurav Sen didn't contact me until July 28, 2009. Doesn't look like they are working very hard on those files.
Please contact your bank to try to get the funds back. Airan2, Airan-Pace will dispute the transaction as they did with mine and provide false information and state that "many hours went into working on the files" which is a complete lie.
Take care, Erica
