I was contacted by James Lehigh of Trinex Capital and offered a simple interest loan at %8.69 with no early payment penalties. I had reservations as the loan got complex including an understandable $500 processing fee, but more vexing was a security deposit of the first and last months payments. I was switched to work with Warren Zenri on this loan. Instead of showing an %8.69 simple interest loan with no pay off penalty the loan document showed a number of payments and an amount. Furthermore, there was a cryptic statement that said I could pay the loan off in full but had legalese conditional statements which I have now found out will mean that I will have paid 63K for a 50K loan if I pay it off this month after having it for 6 months. I read the loan documents with the rose colored glasses of what I as told by Trinex and found out too late that the terms were not the same as what they said.
The loan was sold or perhaps even processed originally through LEAF financing. There is probably no possible remedy available to this situation. I did, through my own fault, sign a loan note with undesirable loan conditions. This complaint is to help serve as a warning for other potential customers of Trinex’s tactics which are dishonesty and confusion.
