Horrendous Customer Service

My wife ordered the Instyler. However, she passed away before receiving the product. I didn't know what the product was when it was received. I opened the box in which it was shipped. After seeing what it was, I called customer service about returning the product. After explaining the situation, I was told I could return it but would have to pay for the shipping & handling since I had opened the shipping container and pay to return. Even after explaining I had no idea what the product was, and was looking for information or shipping information, I still needed to pay for S&H and they would not make an exception even under these extraordinary circumstances. Supervisor said the same thing
I feel this is ridiculous, and will continue to work to rectify this horrendous service.
