Yesterday and today a three man team installed a new floor in my entryway, hallway, family room and kitchen. I am thankful for the experience.
It began with Paul who answered all my questions at the store. He was gracious and made sure I was understanding the possibilities of a lasting floor as one that would be acceptable for the time. Wednesday morning as scheduled Alex, Erin, and Albert, were here and politely explained the key tasks to do the work. They were very conscientious about their work, and were considerate of being around with my dog, Merlin. I settled down with Merlin and at times watched them place each piece carefully where it needed to be.
Under the leadership of Alex, the team performed well and helped me admire the progress of each phase.
The floors had been done in 1969. Now they look more up to date and fit in the expected setting of the millennium.
I am appreciative of the new flooring and especially the people who contributed in making my rooms more cheerful.
