I received an unsolicited, "official" looking mailing from this company. Nowhere in the contents did it say it was not associated with the Tax Assessor's office. It used the official parcel # for my property, and implied that if I did not use them to get an "official" copy of the deed, I could be in big trouble. In fact, if I wanted such a thing, I don't need to send these folks $79.00 -- I could contact the LA County Clerk myself. I was offended by what I consider to be an attempt to "scam" me. Needless to say, the mailing will go in the round file.
