Review 12/22/2007

The only positive thing that I can say about my experience with Tinyride.com is that I have learned to check the BBB before ordering online. My experience is almost identical to Beth's review. Unfortunately, my order was a Christmas gift. I ordered a car seat on Dec. 1 and received a confirmation from Tinyride on Dec. 4 stating it would be shipped within one day. When I realized I had not received tracking info and the car seat had not arrived, the run around from Tinyride customer service began. When I finally talked to a telephone customer service rep (after several attempts with l...o...n...g waits) she was not the least sympathetic with my problem. I asked her to cancel the order so I could get a gift card off to my daughter so she would have it for Christmas, but was told that couldn't be done until they found out if it had been shipped. Well, to make a long story a little shorter... another phone call and several e-mails later, it is now Dec. 22 and I don't know anything more than I did over a week ago except my daugher won't have her Christmas present. The online customer service rep sent out an e-mail that he will be off from Dec. 21 until Jan. 7. NOW, here's the real kicker to this whole story! Yesterday I had an online sale advertisement from Tinyride in which the very same car seat I ordered is featured stating it is IN STOCK! All Tinyride had to do was let me know from the beginning that the car seat wouldn't ship before Christmas or offer me a similar product or the option of a gift card. That's my story. No car seat, no cancellation, no information.
