I purchased a dress online from www.therosedress.com and was told I would receive the dress in 4-5 business days. I waited and waited but I did not receive the dress – EVER! A few days later my bank alerted me that there were suspicious charges to my card. The unauthorized charges were in the amount of $688! I called The Rose Dress several times to find out about my dress which had still not arrived. I got no one on the phone, even though I called over 30 times and waited on the phone upwards of 2 hrs. I tried the live chat, email – everything. No one ever answers! After getting suspicious I checked their reputation online and found that almost all complaints had a similar experience with this company. Nearly everyone has had fraudulent charges or identity theft after doing a transaction with the Rose Garden. I checked their site after and noticed that they do not have a SSL certificate like VeriSign, so I knew my information was compromised. I had to just cancel my card entirely to avoid more fraudulent charges in the future. After several attempts, I finally got to them by email. They promised me a refund but that was the last I heard from them! I have no dress, lost my money and cannot seem to get a refund. I have been treated horribly as a customer. Please, DO NOT buy from this company.
