STOP! MUST READ BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT USING REPUBLIC WINDOWS!

This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. The worst, unprofessional experience with the owner John, and his salesman. They claim to be a company with integrity and honesty, puh! I don’t see it. I called RW for new windows for sound reduction. We had dual
pane window and we wanted triple pane window for sound reduction. That is the only reason I called and ask for a quote. The new windows are installed and the windows DO NOT reduce noise and is in fact worse. Here’s how it went down: I called to set up a quote.
Salesman comes out and we discuss. Salesman takes measurements and gives me an instant quote. Then tells me John the owner will come out and get the final measurements. John comes out to measurement more accurately to order the windows. During the 2 different
visits from the both men, I told them I wanted the new windows to reduce sound because our house backs to a high noise, traffic road. We have cars, trucks and semi-trucks going up and down all day long. Basically both the salesman and John did not listen to
“why” I was purchasing the new windows. When I called to voice my opinion on the new windows, I received a bunch of excuses, a defensive stance and denial from John. He also tells me that the difference in noise reduction between dual and triple pane windows
are 1-3 decibels!!! When he told me that I was livid. No one mentioned that to me at the time of sale or final measurement. Why would I purchase expensive windows for only a difference of 1-3 decibels?!? Total bait and switch situation. They simply made a
sale. After this conversation, John said he would call me back after he got down to the bottom of things. Surprise, surprise, I did not receive a call. I had to call him. We spoke more about the matter, and that is when I couldn’t believe my ears. He suggested
that we purchase a different set of windows (laminate) from them. What in the world!!! After purchasing expensive windows, why on earth would I want to spend more money with RW. Then he says that he’s not even sure if it will work, he needs to wait to hear
back from the manufacturer to see if laminate windows are the way to go. He said he would call me back Friday. Surprise, surprise, he didn’t call, and STILL hasn't. They have been irresponsible in fundamental sales techniques (listening to what our needs are,
which are wanting windows that help reduce noise). It was neglected. They sold me windows that aren't noise reducing at all. They took advantage of a sales opportunity. They should have said, “we are not sound proof window experts, we just sell windows”. Instead,
they said “yes, triple pane windows will help with the noise problem.” They should have looked deeper into our situation. Before offering, they should have asked more questions to make sure they will be getting at the root of the problem, thus bringing value
to the true goal. Poor after-sales customer satisfaction/service! They won’t take responsibility for their mistake. Just because you hear them on this particular radio station advertising a good deal, don’t get fooled!
