I was given an estimated figure for the settling of my debts and a specific monthly payment for a specific length of time only to find out that at the end of that time, whether I've met my estimated figure or not, if the accounts are not settled I am still responsible for the debt and must continue to pay them for their services until they can settle it or go right back to where I started, unable to pay a debt and dealing with collectors. Better off filing bankruptcy or dealing with it yourself. Anything they settle, you are responsible for paying taxes on the difference between the account balance and what it was settled for plus a 33% fee to Palmer, plus maintenance fees.
