Review 9/15/2011

After reading many of the reviews, I find it imperative to express my experience. All I can say is never hire this company. Being brought up in a family whose father was a carpenter, I had an idea of how construction worked. To make a long story short, I too had to make many phone calls to this company to 1. Get the job started, 2. Had many questions on the corners they cut to get the job done cheaply. I insisted on getting the job done, by making phone calls to "Sue" who seemed to be able to tell some good excuses and Dave who basically told me I was a female and didn't know what I was talking about. I finally made a call to Carol Bush who at the time was VP of the company. My cabinet above the stove is l/4 - l/2 inch handing over the top of the dividing wall, and the contractor, Miguel, informed me that if he moved it back to be flush with the wall then it would not hold the microwave and it would have to be something I would have to live with. Amazing to me when the cabinet replaced the old cabinet. There was never any molding installed, they brought it but told me that was not part of the "finishing" work. My friend who painted/textured the rest of my home, (unfortunately I did not hire him first due to signing the contact with Kitchen connection) did the finishing work, molding etc and I deducted his work from the last check owed to Kitchen Connection. Four years later and the "finish" they put on my hickory wood cabinets is peeling around the dish washer area and many calls were made to Kitchen with no answers line is always busy. Guess they are now out of business which is a good thing. Enough said, bottom line, trash drawer had to be repaired 3 times before it was correct, had to live with the cabinet hanging over the wall and never will I hire this company again. I am rating this with one star, because there isn't anything lower.
