Starting in May of 09 I found a home with T.M. I thought could be my first home so I began the purchase process after careful thought I decided to change locations within T.M. that would be a little safer and less noise in the very end of June 09. They agreed and pre-approved me for that home as well with one condition I basically pay my entire down payment up front. Although the house had yet to be completed being built it gave us enough time to finalize all docs and loan info needed and I was given the green light on all. I would always be the one calling and checking in and asking question and trying to find out when I was suppose to close and what the status was. I was greeted with attitude and resistance as if I was asking for a favor and that I had not paid my entire down payment up front which is not usually the case. Finally FIVE months later I was given a date to close in mid Nov 09. I was then given my congrats approval loan letter and all requirements that they asked were quickly met by me. I was so happy finally all was worth it giving up my apartment early basically being homeless putting all my things in storage my dog out of a home it would be worth it right? Wrong they then called me days before I was set to close to ask if my company can put on a letter head that I would be able to use a company car instead of my own so I would not write off my mileage for my taxes. Well my company was not comfortable with that and needless to say I was told I could not close. The most horrible experience of my life. Buying your first home your supposed to be happy. I would never recommend anyone to do business with them. Horrible customer service when buying a 450k house in this market.
