Better than I had hoped for and expected
|
May I congratulate you on having Anthony Aflague on your team at Tax Resolution Services. I heard an ad for your services on Rush Limbaugh and to tell you the truth I was VERY skeptical. You see I had spent several thousand dollars on a similar service
based in Texas and never even got to the stage where I provided enough information to even make an OIC. I spent another couple of thousand dollars with a California enrolled agent who is supposedly very savvy and connected. After he found out my current financial
situation he basically told me not to worry about it and to go get food stamps or whatever public assistance I could find because I had nothing the IRS would ever want until I died. You see, the reason I was in this tax situation in the first place was I had
planned to kill myself. I had been a very successful business owner for many years but in 2004 the economy almost got me. So I sold my company for what I thought would be my retirement nest egg. I got a great consulting gig out of it, a decent amount of cash,
and LOTS of public stock in this company. Unfortunately, all they wanted was the cash out of my company so within the year they drained my company along with several others they bought and vanished. I lost everything. My wife of 30 years, my home, my cars,
all my expensive toys, and even those who I thought were friends disappeared. So my plan was to get my mother settled (she had just lost her husband to cancer) by moving both of us to California from Oklahoma to be close to my younger brother. Then after a
couple of years simply kill myself. So I did not pay tax on purpose. But I came to my senses after several years then tried to figure out how to correct my mistake. It looked hopeless. And after the Texas company screwed me and the enrolled agent told me to
enjoy poverty I had just about decided to go back to my original game plan. But when I heard your ad on Rush Limbaugh I decided I had enough faith and respect in his judgment and character that surely he would not accept a fly-by-night advertiser who was not
reputable. So I contacted your company and after a couple of phone interviews and some financial arrangements I was assigned to Anthony. I am sure all your cases are challenging, but mine surely was stressful for Anthony because I came into the relationship
a bit skeptical. So Anthony had to endure my whining and self-righteous indignation on occasion along with my impatience about moving forward. He was purely professional, patient, helpful and was never once rude to me even though I am sure he had to grit his
teeth at times. I received the letter of Acceptance from the IRS this week and even though it has not fully sunk in yet I am thrilled to settle this case for less than 20% of my tax liability (including your fee). Thank you, Anthony, and Tax Resolution Services
