Don't waste your money!

We hired TR in May of 2010 and paid them $5800 to help us. For over a year, our case was bounced around due to TR employee turnover. In Aug 2011 we finally were placed with another couselor after months of us contacting them with no success. In the interim, the IRS placed a Tax Lien on our Credit. Back in May 2011 when our case was coming to a resolve, we were told that if we made three payments, that TR would follow up to have the tax lien removed from our credit report. We made our first payment in August and have made those payments on time since then – now 5 months. Since we have not heard back from TR, we contacted the IRS and wrote them several letters requesting that the lien be removed. We received correspondence from them today 1/2/2013 stating that they only remove liens when the balance is paid in full. Were we miss informed by TR. When we hired Tax Resolution in May of 2010, we were assured that our tax issue was going to be resolved in a timely manner. It took 2 years for that to happen. The ball was dropped due to TR employee turnover. We feel that if the communication would have been better, the payment result would have been the same but the lien would not have occurred. Or we could have handled the matter on our own and saved $5800. In addition, we have NOT been contacted by TR to discuss the penalties and interest issue which we were also promised they would help with. Once again, another fail on Tax Resolution’s part. WASTE of $$ and LIES! If I could select no stars, I would!
