I went to a hair convention in Long Beach 2 years ago and filled out a form to win a trip to Hawaii for free airfare including 1 passenger. I received the phone call and the man named James (who no longer works there and I'm not surprised) called me to say that i've won but in return I would need to purchase $200 worth of Sun tanning products.
Being a salon owner I figured I would be able to retail the product in the salon. I received a certificate stating that I needed to fill it out and return it back to the warehouse address and THEN they would give me my voucher as long as i sent it 30-90 days prior to my vacation date.
It's been well over 2 weeks since i've sent it and I still have not heard from them. After a number of times I've tried to get in contact the operators would not give me a second of their time and immediately told me to contact their manager because they can't help me with any customer service. But they could definitely help me out with a sale! I have to say it's pretty hard to get a hold of someone who doesn't even have an answering machine. Come to say..this company is a fraud.
I am not the only person who's had to deal with this company for this reason, there's been a number of complaints and I cannot believe that the Beauty Convention would continue to allow this company back into the hair industry.
