Our addition to our home was supposed to be completed by the end of November, 2008. They finally just started it in February, 2009. They have come up with every excuse in the book to avoid responsibility for their actions. They have done very little since they actually started and are now far behind. I recommend you first check out their work over the past year with their current clients first before you hire them, because you may be next!

This is not a valid complaint. Please keep in mind there are two sides to every story and Mr. Itzoe has told numerous untruths and has now kicked us off of his job and is in breach of contract. Throughout his project we have strived to accommodate Mr. Itzoe’s numerous requests regardless if it was part of our contract or not because we knew of several family issues he is dealing with and we wanted to be as accommodating and understanding as possible and within reason. Unfortunately, he is very difficult to deal with as we were warned about him by other contractors and he seems to get more satisfaction from his abusive yelling than trying to resolve any issues he may think there are. As is sometimes the case you can’t please everybody and Mr. Itzoe is by far the most difficult person I have ever met and he could not be pleased despite any of our best efforts.

I take my profession very seriously and have many happy customers and have completed the design and construction of hundreds of additions in over 15 years in the construction industry. I find it difficult to waste my time refuting false claims of an impossible customer but find it critical to do so to maintain the goodwill and reputation of Strictly Additions.

Truth is that we were contracted in May 2008 and worked with his designer who was unresponsive for many months to our numerous requests and Mr. Itzoe was made aware of this several times. We have no control over permitting nor his designer whom he hired. His permit was finally issued middle of Jan 2009 and Mr. Itzoe himself further delayed breaking ground on his job until beginning of Feb 2009 because of family in town.
