BUYER BEWARE.......RUN DON'T WALK!I
I recognize that Statewide offers financing for those who have credit woes and hence the mind blowing APR's. That's unfortunately the price many of us have to pay for our credit circumstances. However, beyond that, the customer service offered once you make a purchase is ZERO to NONE. Made a purchase two weeks ago and the car has been in their "shop" for a week. I honestly don't think they even check the cars out before they put them up for sale. It almost seems like they buy the cars, give them a sub-par wash and stick them directly on their lot. Communication is horrible, at best, and with no loaners, car rental assistance and their location you may find yourself stuck if you ever (which it seems most will) need these unserviced car repaired.
I guess some of their clients have been LUCKY but during my "service" attempt at least (3) new owners having made their purchase less than three weeks prior, like myself, are having major issues getting their automobile repaired. Two of the three cars will no longer even start which is over and above the reason they were seeking service in the first place. I am being told now that my car will need to be towed to the dealership.....
Other, but not all, issues are: advertised down payment of approximately "30%" should be correctly restated as approximately "35%" and the "we don't run credit" is a BOLDFACE lie! It may not be used in determining whether they finance or not but it is simply untrue.
They can keep the barbeque. I'd rather have honesty and a well serviced auto. I would give them ZERO OUT OF FIVE stars if it was possible!
