This company called my mother to tell her I had been involved in a car crash and needed financial help due to debt from the crash. I have never been in a car crash. They scared my mother with their lie. Smartly, the only thing my mother would give them was my phone number.
They did call me, but told me a different story. They told me my mother was in financial trouble and needed to consolidate her debt. They told me how nice my mother was and how she had gone online to fill out an application. The thought of my mother near the Internet made me laugh. Not even possible since the stroke.)
When I asked to speak to a manger, I was put on hold. Then I was told I would have to wait until "his" conference call with "Bank of America" was over. When the man go on the phone he started talking about how "the other lawyer and him" were trying to work things out with my debt. When I asked for his licence number he admitted he was not a lawyer. Then he told me the company were really hired by the state to investigate fraudulent activity. When I asked him what state agency he was working with, he said the government.
My advise, don't give out your credit card # or your SS#. Don't believe anyone who says your son or daughter has been in an accident. Run away from these people and their company and if you really need help with your debt go in and talk with someone from your local bank.
