My Modicication was Approved
|
In September 2012 my husband and I went to Siringoringo Law Firm to apply for a Loan Modification/Principal Reduction. we Talked to Danny who is the Underwriting Manager over at the Upland Office. He explained the process to us and assured us that it should
take no more than 60 days since they (siringoringo) had a good working relationship with our Lender (Ocwen). He then proceeded to tell us the cost and that it was to be paid up front with a monthly service fee. At that time my husband and I questioned that
practice because we too had been told that it was against the Law to take funds up front for Loan Modifications. To make this long story short we decided to go forward with having Siringo to do the processing for our Modification. We paid them $2500.00 (dollars)
up front and a monthly service fee of $495.00. Our Loan documents were sent over to their Loan Processing Department the 1st of October 2012 and we received a call from a young man name Juan who introduced himself to us as our processor. We met with him one
time face to face and never spoke or heard from him again, even after countless calls to him. At this point we are starting to get concerned and to think maybe we have been taken. In early December we received a call from another young man by the name of Richard
Paxton who introduced himself to us as our new Loan Processor and told us he would be taking over our file. We met with him and he assured us that he would do everything within his power to get us the Modification but of course could not guarantee the final
outcome but he would keep us informed every step of the way. Mr. Paxton was a man of his word. We finally began to get weekly updates, when we called him he immediately called us back and if the Lender needed more information he informed us and the matter
was taken care of right away. On March 23rd, 2013 we received a call from Mr. Paxton informing us that we had been approved for our Loan Modification. Our Lender (Ocwen Loan Servicing) gave us a Principal Reduction of $166,000.00 (dollars) with a Debt Forgiveness
in 3 years if all pyments are paid on time, Ocwen reduced our Mortgage Payment from $1639.00 a month to $1321.90 with a 2% fixed interest rate for the Life of the Loan. We couldnt be more satisfied and owe this to the hard work of Mr. Richard Paxton. My only
regret is that this didnt happen in the 60 days that was originally mentioned because it would have saved us Thousands of Dollars but, the end result is well worth it to us. We decided going into this that we would Trust God with the outcome. I have read the
other Reviews and can truly understand the anger. We all work hard for our money and want the results we are lead to believe we will get. I cannot say what happened with other customers but as for my husband and myself we were really happy with the end results
