Sears Home Improvements outsourced their contractors, who must have retired 20 years ago and is doing their cabinetry, and counter tops and back splashes as a part time hobby. They damaged my walls while trying to remove the old back splash. The saleman told me the new back splash would be the same height as then old one. Not true. The new one is 3 inches to short. Sears refuse to repair the wall, stating I signed a contract that they would not repair any damage to the wall. The wall was not damaged before they began their work. Their contractor measured incorrectly. Don't use Sears. I have shared my experience with Sears to friends and co-workers. They have shared same or similar horror stories about Sears Home Improvement. Wish I had spoken to them first!
