There is one particular Sears I would stay away from; Sears in Downey, CA. They have the most ignorant service. They don't know how to handle complaints.
The Sears Auto center I am very happy with is the one in Montclair, CA. I go there often for my Auto tune ups and Oil Changes. All the staff there are nice and seem to care for your needs. They are always having specials for your Auto needs.
