A year ago I ordered a new kitchen remodel from Sears Home Improvement.
This turned out to be a big mistake. I wanted a reputable company that would do everything and provide a project manager to see it through from start to finish. They sold me on their customer satisfaction data, and told me they only use their own contractors. I'm not sure where they got the data and they do subcontract out. My kitchen flooded the day the demolition was done. Sears took absolutely no responsibility. The contractor returned to see the damage and did not even offer water vacuum, fan, or a remediation company. He said he could install the cabinets the next day. Everything, floors, walls, and downstairs was saturated with water.
So, a year later after hiring an attorney (they were very difficult to deal with) I am waiting for my new kitchen from a different but well researched company. I've also had appliances delivered from Sears in the past with poor service from their delivery people.
