This portion of Sears is terrible! They arrived at my home two weeks ago under the pretense that they were going to fix my washing machine. When the man left, he had the center portion of my washing machine dropped into the basin but claimed I could still use it until he returned with more parts.
While he was here on that same day (may 12) he went out to his vehicle, listened to his ipod (because I can see from the windows in my spare bedroom) and returned to my house telling me he was sorry but he didn't have the parts in his van. I said ok, when can you repair it? He gave me a date a week and a half from that day (may 24)! He claimed it was because I was going to have to wait at least a week for the parts to be mailed to me. So, I scheduled that date between the hours of 8-12, at which point the serviceman left.
It should be noted my parts arrived two days later.
However on said date, well after 1030am, I called sears to inquire my serviceman's status. First they said they had no record of an appointment. Then they said the earliest they could be here would be June 2nd between 1-5pm! I was livid. I spoke to an agent and a manager and neither could tell me why I didn't even receive a courtesy call in reference to the error and refused to schedule me for any earlier than above referenced date! Needless to say, I am out a washing machine and the repair team is less than helpful. At the very least they could have offered to come tomorrow since it was their error as a company.
