Review 3/23/2010

I was unlucky enough to purchase a sceptre monitor through newegg. After receiving the monitor I promptly hooked it up, and the red lights in the LCD were neon fluorscent for all red based colors. There is loss of detail in reds/oragnes, there is no setting that can correct it without skewing all of the blue and green colors, not to mention, that the maxed out settings still show the red as bright neon. Yellows look half way decent, and straight yellow is darker in hue then a regular orange/red color. I know there are lemons out there, but after doing some research on user reviews from newegg and other online stores, this is not an isolated case. Sceptre uses cheap parts, and then has the non refund policy so once you buy their lemons, you're stuck with it. I do NOT recommend to purchase anything from this company ever.
