My Loan Modification Experience
|
I have been trying to get a loan modification on my house of 12 years. I am self employed in the construction business and like many I fell into hard times due to the economy. Things have picked up but I’m still trying to recover. I began to cut expenses and make changes to accommodate for the drastic decrease in my income but found it difficult. The bills were stacking up but so were the massive amounts of advertisement about loan modifications. It was difficult to filter through the legit ones but after many rejections from various loan modification offers I finally sought help from Sanctuary Capital Group. They were up front with me during the whole 2 ½ years of negotiating with my mortgage company. I will admit there were times when I just felt like giving up but the individuals at Sanctuary Capital Group were more than supportive they cared about my livelihood. It was frustrating to have to resubmit the same documentation over and over again but Sanctuary Capital Group were great at communicating and educating me throughout the process. There were times I second guessed what was happening because I received postings taped on my door informing that foreclosure was in process while also receiving letters both certified and regular in the mail from my mortgage company informing that I was denied, foreclosure was in process and the auction of my home was coming up. As hysteria set in I was quickly relaxed at each returned call and email response from Sanctuary Capital Group. They are always accessible and reply promptly especially in times of hysteria. The auction date came and went and the resubmission of paperwork was again requested. Finally, on May 24, 2012 I received a call from Sanctuary Capital Group informing me that the loan modification was aprroved. The journey was long and difficult and as cliche as it sounds I could not have done it without Sanctuary Capital Group.
