I came to this office for a second opinion from another dental office in North Hollywood. At the first office I felt that the dental plan presented to me was ridiculously huge in thousands of dollars. I was told that I needed 3 crowns, 5 fillings and a deep cleaning. Dr. Lipkin diagnosed me with necessity of only 1 crown and 2 fillings. He also mentioned that even though my gums are not in perfect condition, the regular cleaning will take care of the problem and deep cleaning is not necessary at this point. I found his approach to be reasonable and conservative. I guess dentistry is not particularly an exact science and you may have difference of opinions from dentist to dentist. What pleasantly surprised me was that his office is very private and very personable. There was no waiting time whatsoever, and whenever I had treatment done, Dr. Lipkin only had one patient (me) in the dental chair and didn't jump from chair to chair. I've been around many other dental offices in the area and almost always dentist had 2-3 patients at the same time. To make long story short, I was happy with my results when I completed my 2 fillings and a crown, and ended up getting Zoom teeth whitening done on my next visit. I had great results with the whitening!
