Country View Shutters is a Fraudulent Company.
I was sold: “The CountryView® Shutter requires virtually no maintenance and needs only periodic dusting to retain its lustrous, buttery-smooth finish.”
I received: Shutters that have dust in the paint, dents in the wood, chips in the paint/wood, and blotchy paint in many areas.
I was sold: “At CountryView® Shutters, Blinds and Shades, not only do we custom build your window coverings, we also install them. Our trained technicians measure your window openings to ensure a perfect, custom fit and then return to professionally install your new treatments.”
I received: On 10/7/2010 an installation that is very poor quality (I made notice to the company on the same date of the construction / installation problems):
•The mitered corners of the frame are not square and do not fit together.
•The frames are not mounted plumb and level, most of the shutters do not close correctly (they either rub against one another or the frame).
•When closed the shutters do not fit squarely in the frame.
•Instead of using a white magnate type closures, I received a chrome friction type closure that was poorly installed and looks terrible from the outside.
The company is refusing to rectify the poor workmanship and installation. I have left three phone messages (10/11, 10/12, 10/15) without a return call.
