8 Months and still waiting
|
It's now been 8 months since I initially applied with Prudent Law Group and paid my $3495 fee (spread out over 2 months with post dated checks per their OK).
So far:
- applied in February/ docs sent in via prepaid FedEx
- a few calls and emails at first asking for financial info, multiple times asked for the same info
- contact from a transaction coordinator asking for the same info again
- in March I asked for a status, got an automated email response
- in April I asked for a status, got an automated email response, then I got a call from a different contact saying that the original person was no longer there.
- In late May I asked for a status, got an automated email response
- In mid June I asked for a status, got an automated email response
- In late June I sent a copy of a letter that I had received from my lender about loan modification, and I called and PLG and was told not to respond
- On July 30 I asked for a status, and received an automated response
- In early August (or there about) I posted on the PLG my frustration, and received a call from a third person a few days later saying that they would look into my file
- So far no other contact has been received.
UPDATE 09/26/2012: Prudent Law group called me last week and connected me with my lender via conference call. During the conversation with my lender, the spokesperson asked me who the other person was - they had no idea who Prudent Law Group was, which tells me that PLG had been doing bascially nothing.
