BEWARE OF PRIORITY FINANCIAL. We hired this company to perform a loan modification. We paid them $2,000.00 and submitted all of the documents requested by them to submit to our mortgage holder. Month after month went by with absolutely no response from PFG as to the status of our loan modification. We finally did receive a call from Paul Hernandez telling us that he did in fact secure a loan modification for us. We then found out it was a Trial Plan Agreement and not a loan modification. Paul Hernandez told us that if we made our three payments to the bank, PFG would have all of our final loan modification documents and the loan modification would be completed. He stated that the trial plan was just a "formality." We did make our payments for three months but never received any final documents from PFG. Paul Hernandez advised us to continue making payments to the bank because the "bank is so behind." When we objected to this he stated "well, it is up to you if you want your house or not." We continued making three more payments to the bank for a total of six months. To date, we have no idea what has happened to the six payments we made to the bank. We also found out that Paul Hernandez had given confidential information about the status of our loan modification to one of our relatives. Due to his unethical and unprofessional behavior we began working with John De La Garza who ended up to be as unprofessional as Paul Hernandez.
In the meantime, we received numerous telephone calls from our bank indicating that they had never received the requested documents from PFG on our behalf. Because of PFG’s lack of service, we have had to retain attorneys. Our new attorneys have found out after speaking with our bank that PFG has never submitted the proper documents that they requested, even though we were sending them to PFG to submit for us. We had been sending these documents to PFG all along but they never followed through to do their work which has resulted in a denial of our loan modification. We have sent a letter to PFG requesting a full refund outlining all of our complaints. Of course, we have heard nothing from John De La Garza. We do not believe any of the positive comments that have been submitted to the BBB. The facts are that this company has received numerous complaints against them and have received an F rating.
