Our company forklift was in need of repair. The work was to be done by Premium Equipment Co. We told them what our budget was, but they did not give us an estimate. When the forklift was returned the bill was twice what our budget was. We questioned the total and we were told it needed more work than originally thought. Premium never called for us to approve the additional work. Then after a few days the forklift started leaking fluid again, worse then when it went in. We called and a serviceman came out but no repairs were made. We called again with no satisfaction; we told Premium we had a problem with the bill and the quality of the work. We were then taken to court and after showing the judge all the problems still existed they ruled we still had to pay. Also in court it was brought out that we could have had it fixed under the warranty. We would have done that if we knew there was a warranty. The only paperwork we received was the invoice and there is no mention of warranty anywhere. Even though the bill is way over what the forklift is even worth, it is sad to think a company won’t even stand behind its work.
