I have been a customer of Infor-Med since 2000. While I like the software, the company, with the knowledge of the CEO Dr. Low, has not kept their original sales promises and are now discriminating against our business. When I purchased the software in 2000, they PROMISED free support and upgrades "for life".Since that time, Dr. Low has decided that this was not a prudent business decision. He then came up with the concept of "extended support" for several thousand dollars per year. What this has translated to is that when I need support with a problem during a busy day of seeing patients, I basically get ignored for several hours in addition to getting a call from Praxis Administration trying to strong arm me into paying for extended support. This basically hinders our patient care for hours. While I am trying to decide what action to take, I do want to make my struggles public. I would love to hear from any other Practice that has experienced this issue of Fraud. I have kept all promises in writing and have kept screen shots of this "policy" from the Praxis website. They have since deleted any website page archive that discussed Dr. Lows promise of Free support and Upgrades for Life. I would like for Dr. Low to keep his original promises to his long standing, which were a major factor in my purchasing his software, and stop using extortion to get his customers to comply.
