Thumbs Up For Praxis EMR!

Hello- I have been using Praxis EMR for about four years and I love the program. For the record, Praxis is actually my third EMR. Needless to say I struggled with the prior systems. One was from the hospital, the other was an expensive mistake (no names mentioned but expensive) so I am glad I found Praxis. No other system allows me to get exactly the kind of note I want, and does so quickly like Praxis does. Support (online) has been very good overall, and I have close contact with the Praxis training staff. They actually assigned me two trainers as my schedule is quite demanding. I hate charting in general, but at least with Praxis it's my note and it's fast. I still think I spend too much time on some notes, but I am seeing improvements. Most of my colleagues seem to hate their systems so I feel quite good and would highly recommend Praxis to anyone looking. If I could give any advice, get good computers. I have upgraded my workstations, and find that just logging on, or turning them on, is noticeably faster, especially with a full clinic. Sometimes I'm dropped off my tablet pc but I think it's the connection, so if you are using one, make sure it's connected right. Good luck and I think you'd love Praxis too.
