Run....don't even think about doing business with this company

My wife and went into this store and found what we thought was a very nice dining room furniture set. The sales person named Jenny said that they had plenty of that particular model in stock and if we wanted we could leave a deposit and it would be held at the sales price until wanted it.
We put $10.00 down and said that we were going to come back in a couple of days to pay the balance and then they would be able to deliver it the same day.
The following day the sales person called and said that they were having delivery issues and if it was possible to delay the delivery by a couple of extra days. That sounded kind of fishy to me to call us before we even pay for it to delay the delivery date. That prompted me to do a bit more research about the company and we found out they have numerous consumer complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau. Search for them on the BBB site and you'll see that I'm telling the truth.
We called and asked them for a refund of our deposit to be returned after reading all of the negative reviews ....and the response from Pina Furniture is that..."We do not give refunds...but you could come in and get something from the store equivalent to the deposit". I'm wondering ...what the heck could I get from a furniture store for $10.00? Some furniture spray? No thanks. I'm just glad I only took a loss of $10.00 vs. others losing a lot more to learn a lesson about this shady place.
