I had decided to try this company on for size and have discovered that they are a very risky investment. They are possibly
There are companies that they have farmed out their services to, claiming that they were overwhelmed with work, needing assistance. Apparently, these companies are dropped and not paid soon after their initial engagement. My guess is that they are using these companies to develop immediate results, satisfying their "victims" with the work done by others. They are banking on people who are conned into their contracts. Pepper Bottle's work looks legitimate until the conned vendors begin to cut their services.
I am currently listed on their website as one of their clients. Since they are in need of legitimate businesses to include on this list, I realize that I may have been lured into this scheme. It was difficult to refuse at a very low rate :)
The biggest indicator for me was their refusal to continue accepting American Express as my payment option. Obviously, American Express is probably on to them and will not allow them to perform any further transactions.
I will be seeking legal assistance to track and investigate these guys (Hope you are reading PB :). Appears to be a great con - Watch out for these guys..
I have decided to post this message after failing to contact Pepper Bottle with the several phone numbers I have accumulated over the past several months. At this time, they appear to have "moved on", leaving their old phone numbers behind for a new company that has taken their space. What a load of !#!@$#!.
