DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Contract said "professional" movers. They pulled up 2 hours late, in a Budget rental truck. It was very apparent that the only professional was the driver/foreman and the other 3 helpers were just picked up off a corner. They didn't even know how to use a dolly properly. It was a local move so they didn't have an inventory list. When they arrived at our new home, the driver/foreman insisted I sign all the papers and make payment before they unloaded the truck. One of the papers was the condition of the goods....I was leery of signing since they hadn't unloaded yet....but the guy insisted. As they unloaded the truck, they informed me that they broke a knob off my washing machine. They also broke the frame on a new Queen sleigh bed and "fixed" it by screwing the pieces back together. It looked like hell. They tried unsuccessfully for over an hour to get a couch into a bedroom. They knocked a 4 inch hole in the stucco and damaged the door frame molding while trying to get this couch to go in the door. The driver/foreman noted the damaged bed and washer on the form before they left. He told me I would get copies of everything I was signing. I never have received any copies and got nowhere calling Natalie at the office. After they movers left, we noticed multiple damages on furniture. A second knob on the washer was also broken off and they had stuck tape under it to disguise that it was broken. Sleigh bed has multiple scratches. They broke the handle on the refrigerator and lost the screws to put it back on. they tore the bottom of the leather couch that they tried to get in the room. I filed a move claim with their claim management company but it was denied because the damages had not been noted on the paperwork. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not professional and do not operate honestly. My move was in July 2012 and was from Anaheim to Sun City. They also charged a 5% credit card surcharge which is illegal in CA. They did refund me this amount when I contacted them.
