They did their job well

My goals: 1 -refi at a good rate, 2- not go insane. My fears: 1 - trust; 2 - hassle; 3 - will they fund. If you use lending tree, some lenders will hound your phone with auto callers. I recommend getting a caller id box early in the process. With Pacific Beneficial, a person called. She was nice. She passed me onto Alex Jocovic who was super thorough. He quoted the rates of the day and took me to the web site with current information. There was no translation or "dumbing down" for the consumer. I saw the rate sheet. The rates were good and the fees were understandable. Once we started, he called me nearly every day with an update. If someone was dragging the feet, he would follow up with them or their company and find out why. This was my third start on this loan. ING was horrible - they dragged their feet on value and then offered me an adjusted loan that was horrible. Citibank, I like. But, the rates they quoted were loaded with fees - about 3 times the fees paid through Pacific. I even dealt with Wells, but did not even get started. Wells would not give me the current - up to the minute - rate at the moment we were talking. They were useless. Yes, I met my goals. We got a refi at a good rate. I did not go insane. The fears were all abated. I trust Alex, He kept the process to the point and hassle free. And most importantly the loan funded at the rate quoted. One thing I want to add is that I could get a real person on the phone every time I called. Admittedly, I had to leave voice mail a couple of times, but I got a real call-back within minutes of each message. I never faced an automated "push button" system. I liked that.
