We have been living in a property managed by Orange County Property Management for over 6 months now. Before I moved in, I read these reviews. After my 6 month experience at the property, I felt they didn't get the representation which is due to them and want people to feel confident, they are in good hands.
When we signed the lease, we still had a month till our move in date. Since the unit was already prepared for move in, OCPM welcomed us to come and go as we needed and to start moving our stuff before our official date, including that we could even move in if we were ready! Far cry from my last two experiences here in California.
This was the first touch of "humanity" that I found extremely refreshing, in the midst of a profession that has seem to have forgotten that they are there to help other human beings, rather than wooing them until our money is in their hands, then dropping us like a one night stand. I’m sure many of you have felt that sting from a management company and why you’re looking at reviews, like I did.
There were several needed repairs gone unnoticed when we moved in, obviously because the last tenant didn't seem to mind or caused some themselves. OCPM gave a ready hand to fix them all and were very prompt about it. The repairs were not obvious in a walk through, so I see how OCPM didn't know. They came not only once, but believe they have had to come 4 times, due to us not noticing things! 4 times. All very prompt responses.
Since I do know they manage many properties...this impresses me the more. I would refer my best friend, mother, grandparents and anyone else I respect and love to move into a property managed by Orange County Property Management :)
