Dear James and New Leaf--
We have one account settled and are in the process of 3 more which will be done by April and we have you to thank for it. The first account, which was $8,000 was settled for $1750.00, which is 21% of the balance. We know you worked long and hard to get this most generous offer, and we can't thank you and your staff enough for all your hard work and efforts on our behalf.
From our very first conversation last fall, you put our fears and anxieties at rest. And at the conclusion of our introductory conversation, there was no doubt in my mind that we wanted to deal with you and New Leaf. We never imagined that we would be in such dire financial straits at this point in our life and we really didn't know where to turn or how to climb out from under the pile of debt. But with your honest assessment of our finances, your thorough knowledge of debt negotiation and your calming demeanor, We knew that we had found the right company to help us in our time of need. We have always had stellar credit, own 1 property, and pay our bills on time. We got in over our heads and our situation changed quickly when the banks started raising our interest rates and our payments went up $200-400 dollars a credit card. Slowly but surely we saw our once fine credit standing plummet. Then fear and confusion set in. It wasn't until we called James at New Leaf did we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Getting the first settlement offer gave us hope that we would be debt-free in less time than the forecasted 3 years. And while we realize that our other creditors may not be as generous as some, We am filled with hope that you will continue to work tirelessly to obtain similar offers for us. We applaud you for your honesty, integrity and professionalism. If anyone is on the fence about signing up with New Leaf, let us say that their only regret will be that they didn't join James and his staff sooner.
