During our refinance we were told that Nationwide had closed its doors and the people we were dealing with were without jobs. We were given new people and were told that they were allowed to complete the refinances that were in process. After 6 months from the time we started, we finally closed on a decent new rate. Two days later we had identity theft. A week later we were warned by an anonymous caller that we had identity theft and we needed to close all of our accounts. The caller told us all of our personal info and listed off several credit cards we had. I know this was all related to the refinance through Nationwide.
