I don't really write reviews, but in the case of Nationwide I felt it necessary to do so. I had the displeasure of dealing with Linda who is a processor at Nationwide. She caused me more strain and stress than I ever could imagine when it came time to get my loan processed. There were times, because of her negligence, that I thought the loan would not go through and I would lose my house. My mortgage broker would do quality checks on my loan documents, find problems that needed to be fixed before the loan closed, and then she would call 2 days later asking me to do the same thing when it was already too late. Not only was she incompetent at her job, she would call my real estate agent screaming at him only to realize that she was wrong and hours later call to apologize. I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and so incompetent at their job. It is beyond me why Nationwide would employ anyone like that who is such a liability to their company. If you can avoid going through Nationwide to get your loan closed, I would highly recommend it.
