BEWARE!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. First of all, Nasle was recommended by former coworkers as good for teachers, so I tried her out. She started off doing fairly well, about 10-15 years ago, 3-4 stars. Over the years her performance declined rapidly, and her excuses got more and more elaborate, but I would sit through them without complaining just so I could get my taxes done. She would lose my paperwork almost every other year, so I learned to always keep copies because the last few years I would have to send it twice.
This year, I sent my paperwork March 15, via certified mail. I called and texted to let her know I sent them, with no reply. Late March I called to see if she got them and left a message. No reply. Early April I call again, get her on the phone, and again with excuses, saying she just got back from a 6-week medical leave (she always had some dramatic medical story for an excuse) and that she would start everyone's taxes that next day. Called two weeks later, left a message, no response. Called a week later and she answered the phone (I would never get a return call unless she picked up the phone initially), excuses about an uncle or some relation (similar to many other excuses) passed away, promising to get to my taxes and would contact me when she was ready to transmit. Two weeks later (late April), called and couldn't even leave a message because her voicemail was full. Tried several times that week, the next week and even the following week, same result. Finally got her on the phone (she picked up) on May 13, she answered a question for me and said she would file an extension and then get to my taxes that week and would call me back before she transmitted. No contact. I called and left a message and text on May 21 checking to see if it was done. No reply. I called, left a message, and texted May 27th, no reply. Finally Sunday, June 6th I left a voicemail message and text telling her that if I did not hear from her and my taxes were not filed by June 9th that I would take my business elsewhere permanently. NO Response! So June 9, I took my paperwork to a new tax preparer, who prepared my taxes (and while he looked at my last year's taxes, gave me some serious anxiety about her ability to do taxes). When he e-filed the IRS came back with the message that my taxes had already been filed! I called, left a message and texted her and still have not received a reply. I am going to refuse to pay her if she submits a bill and I am seriously considering reporting her as a fraudulent tax preparer.
